IPSO Launches New Newsletter: Payments Today
IPSO’s newly launched newsletter ‘Payments Today’ provides insights from Ireland’s experts on payments to its readers in member banks, as well as to all payment users, both businesses and consumers.
The first edition provides statistical and expert analysis of the payment landscape in Ireland and also in Europe, the latest on card fraud prevention and details of the closure of the cheque guarantee card scheme. It also looks at welfare payments going electronic both in Ireland and the USA, lists some interesting direct debit facts, includes a brief roundup of other headlines and an editorial contribution from the Department of Agriculture’s Colm McKiernan on how the Department switched to electronic for all farmers’ payments.
